SPRING AND SUMMER SOCIAL EVENTS PROGRAMME 2008

In addition to running, as ever, every Tuesday the following “Open Runs” (Harriets, pups and guests), through the most positive and dedicated attributes of the named organisers, are well into the planning, indeed into the going firm phase.  Other Hashers with similar dispositions are most welcome, certainly encouraged, to plan further events.   With the exception of the Coronation BBQ, dates are probably fixed - therefore annotate your diaries accordingly! 

1^st August (Friday and Minden Day) - The First Latchi Boat Trip.  Organised by Jim Burke, Ray Turford and Dave Norris.  This now very traditional affair will as ever take the form of transportation to Latchi by luxury coach with breakfast (banjos) provided, then embarkation accompanied by many “Black Boxes”, followed by slipping Latchi harbour, opening the boxes and making passage to Fontana Amorosa and Cape Arnauti.  BBQ will be provided on board, water-sports optional and community singing on the return coach trip compulsory!

24^th August (Sunday) – The August Bank Holiday Hash and BBQ on Melanda Beach.  Organised by Peter Hogg, Tom McSherry and Laurie Mitchell.

31 Oct/02 Nov 08  Trip to Kyrenia, North Cyprus. Accommodation in 5 Star Piabella Hotel.
Weekend to include a Hash, boat trip and staying in luxury hotel.
Cost £42 sterling per couple per night in twin room.
